SuperBowl of Team Roping Starts Tomorrow!!

If you are a team roper you know what time it is..........  Tommorrow starts the SuperBowl of team roping at the state fairgrounds in Oklahoma City. Ropers from all over the country have traveled to watch and compete in the most exciting team roping event of the year. The USTRC does  an amazing job at putting this week long event on.  At the end of next week we will know who the best is in every division. The week starts with the open ropers who rope for a living and through out the week we will see people from all walks of life to rope.  Most people who will be at the finals dont rope for a living but they have a passion for team roping.  Here they can rope for some serious money and spend quality time with their families and their horses!
In 2009, the Cinch National Finals of Team Roping took in $4,128,900 in entry fees, but paid out $4,143,252 in cash. In addition to the cash payout, $625,000 in prizes was awarded, generating a 2009 NFTR payout of over $4.8 million. Many of the Finals several divisions paid out more than $400,000 with the winners walking away with $100,000 or more.
In addition to the finals the Lazy E arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma will be having jackpots all week for all levels of  ropers. You don't have  to rope for a living to rope for some serious money and prizes. It is an awesome sport!  Who wouldn't want to have a great time with their families and have a chance to win money riding their horses.
